I have searched every Woolworths in Durban, and even tried ordering online There are NO gluten Free hot cross buns to be found!
Hi Denise, it may be your location. There are plenty on the shelves in my suburb in Joburg and if I try to order online, it says delivery in 2 days. I’m sorry that you can’t find them locally. Perhaps try a super-store Woolworths? Or speak to your local store manager?
I live in Johannesburg and also couldn’t find a Woolworths branch with a stock of Hot Cross Buns. Eventually one staff member offered to call me when they were in stock. I raced over buy some, but was very disappointed when I got to eat one as they had no taste! Very bland! I won’t bother next year.
