I was diagnosed in 2017 and quickly discovered that there was no gluten-free support in South Africa. Google search results supply plenty of information for other countries, but none here. I made it my mission to become the support that I never had.

Celiac Safe was launched a year ago today and it has been worth every moment! I have 2110 Facebook followers, 427 Instagram followers and a few dozen email subscribers. I celebrate the thankful messages, the not-so-kind comments and the many enquiries I receive in my inbox – all of which have inspired further research and new posts.

It is humbling to think that so many find my posts useful – thank you one and all ❤
